Whitney Houston’s legacy lives on.
On Wednesday, Ariana Grande, Chance the Rapper, Jordin Sparks and many more celebrities took to social media to send special messages to the late singer on what would have been her 54th birthday.
“Happy birthday to the greatest to ever do it. 🦋 I love youuu,” Grande wrote on Instagram alongside a black-and-white photo of Houston smiling wide.
“Whitney Houston, thank you. I’m blessed to have been exposed to your gift when I was young. I truly appreciate all you gave to this world,” Chance the Rapper tweeted.
Missy Elliott paid tribute to the “I Have Nothing” singer with a throwback video of Houston in the studio, while the rapper praised her incredible singing skills.
