Bonang Matheba’s Publishers Recalls Her Book Over Poor Grammar

The publisher of Bonang Matheba’s memoir, From A to B, have confirmed that it has started a nationwide recall of her book following outrage from readers who exposed the poor editing and factual errors.

The drama started days ago when folks took to Twitter to share screenshots of the book; many people called the prose laughable, while others noted the factual and grammatical errors.

See the sample tweet from one of the readers:

Following the outrage, the publishers BlackBird Books have now started recalling the book and has promised to republish a better version.

“We can confirm that the book has been recalled, with this recall process having already started. This will be a nationwide recall,” the publishers said in a statement as published by Timeslive, adding, “In response to recent commentary on Bonang Matheba’s book, From A to B, we acknowledge that mistakes happen; it’s how we deal with them that matters. We promise you a new and improved version very soon. If you aren’t satisfied with your purchase and want to return your copy to us, we will send you a brand-new edition as soon as it is available,” read the statement.”

One of those who shot darts at the media guru includes her former bestie Somiziwho she slammed in her book.

She said this of Somizi:

“Somizi Didn’t Even Realise Why I Had Stopped Friends With Him. He Thoughts It Was Because Of Something He Thinks I Think He Did…”

And in response, the Idols judge mocked her on his Instagram using same poor grammar structure:
