Daniele De Rossi has signed a contract extension with Roma until 2019, the club have announced.
De Rossi, 33, made 31 appearances for the Giallorossi in Serie A as they finished second, securing automatic qualification for the Champions League.
An official club statement said: “The club is pleased to confirm that midfielder Daniele De Rossi has signed a new two-year contract with AS Roma.”
De Rossi, who was born in Rome and is a product of the club’s youth academy, made his debut in 2001 and has won the Coppa Italia on two occasions as well as finishing as runner-up in Serie A eight times.
In total he has played 561 times for the first team, scoring 59 goals.
