TMZ reports that Jussie Smollett’s roles in the last episodes of ‘Empire’ have been slashed Following the ‘Homophobic attack’ scandal,
According to the reports, the gay actor who was to appear in nine episodes will now only appear in four.
‘Empire’ writers are reportedly busy making edits to the original script which would have seen him appear in nine episodes as well as a big musical scene.
The Medium reports that the big musical scene has been removed altogether with ‘Jamal’ being seen in only four episodes.
Jussie will also be enjoying far less screen time as his roles in the four episodes will be minimal.
This just might spell doom for Jussie’s acting career considering the attention his attack has garnered worldwide.
These latest developments come barely hours after it was revealed that Jussie teamed up with the Nigerian brothers identified as persons of interest in the Jussie’s alleged attack in January, to stage the attack.
It was reported at the time that the actor had been attacked by two men during a food run, raising suspicions that might be homophobia related.
At this point, it is hard to tell if the case would be proceeding to the grand jury as we earlier reported would happen sometime next week.
